Things took a different spin on Guillem Vives’ expected move to Barcelona, as Valencia requests for the Blaugranas to pay the player’s entire buyout (an estimated of 1.5 million euros) and won’t accept any other offer.
At first, Barcelona was willing to give out that amount of money to get the player, but as of recently, this is no longer the case.
If Vives wants to move to Barcelona, he will have to pay his buyout himself, something very unlikely to happen, so the deal is now on hold until further notice.
