The news of Russel Westbrook’s new multi-year agreement with the Oklahoma City Thunder has brought quite the contrast of emotions in two parts of the NBA fandom world.
On one hand you have the Thunder fans. Westbrook staying in the team is a fine reason for them to tear the anti-depression pill subscriptions they have been given after Kevin Durant’s departure for the Warriors.
And then you have the Lakers‘ supporters who have been ogling Westbrook since he was heavily rumored to as a serious target for the L.A. team. Alas, their thirst to see such a superstar donning the purple and yellow jersey to lead them in the land of milk and honey, will not be quenched.
In the middle of both of them you have the one and only Enes Kanter who decided to comment on the news with some pretty venomous humor. The Oklamoma center mercilessly “trolled” the Lakers fans tweeting the following image and adding some personal yet rather “unfriendly” advice. His comment was not particularly well received by friends of the Lakemen, even though it came straight from the heart.
Thunder fans, on the other hand, were quite amused. Some hours later they even went crazy with love for Kanter because of his new tweet-attack. This man is one of their own, isn’t he?
