Finally Denver announced today the addition of Juan Hernangomez and also of two more rookies Jamal Murray and Malik Beasley, all three have now signed their rookie contracts and Brose Baskets is getting a buy out!
While Denver was trying to make room to its roster for Hernangomez, the Spanish player had already a contract with the German champs and if Denver had decided to let him for one more season in Europe, he was Germany-bound.
However, that was not the case and the addition of Vladimir Veremeenko and the German’s team roster yesterday, signified that Hernangomez was finally on his way to Denver. The buy out which Brose Baskets is going to get is less than the 650.000 permitted by the NBA rules, still the Germans made some money by a smart, no-risk move.
