The Croatian national team coach Alexander Petrovic attacked the referees of the game against Argentina in the press conferance.
Petrovic who got two techincal fouls during the game was furious: “I do not know why there has been a change in the criteria of the calls, but in the second half Argentina was playing football, not basketball. I’m still tense from the game, but this really did not make any sense in the second half. I do not want to say anything harsh”.
According to Bojan Bogdanovic the problem of Croatia was that they weren’t as aggresive as their opponents: “We have entered the court and we immediately felt their presurre and aggression which we couldn’t match. We gave up too many points and I can’t understand why. We did not fight like we did against Spain. We expect a similar aggresive game by Brazil, our next opponent”.
