Carlos Arroyo ended the season in Barcelona, his future may be in China, however he doesn’t exclude a return to Turkey, even if his experience with Galatasaray didn’t end well.
As he said to “Primera Hora” newspaper: “There’s strong interest from China and Turkey and some contacts with Germany and the NBA. China would be an interesting new option. But I do not rule anything yet. For example, although I had a financial dispute with Galatasaray, I still have a great relationship with the fans. There I was treated very well. Sure, I may end in an other team in Turkey. But I do not know if it would be the best option due to the political instability over there right now”.
Arroyo also stated that he has won the BAT case against Galatasaray for money owned from the 2014-15, so this also one more thing that the Turkish club has to take care, if they want the player back.
Still there’s no official announcement from the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal on his case yet and Galatasaray is not informed on the verdict.
