Pau Gasol made history once more. After scoring his 12th point in the game against USA he became the top scorer in the history of the Spanish national team.
In his 191st game Gasol surpassed Juan Antonio San Epifanio who had scored 3330 points in 239 games (13.9), leaving also behind him Wayne Bradender with 2861 points in 190 games (12.7 ppg), Emiliano Rodriguez with 2842 points in 175 games (16.2).
The fifth spot belongs to Juan Carlos Navarro who had 2717 points in 235 games (11.6 ppg.) before today’s game, while Gasol had – also before the game vs USA – 3319 points in 190 games (17.5 ppg).
