Richard Hendrix returned to Spain, this time for Gran Canaria and Eurocup. The former player of Unicaja Malaga who finished the season in Tel Aviv with Maccabi signed with his new team, as the club announced.
The deal between the two sides was an open secret, after the addition of Victor Rudd to Maccabi Tel Aviv. The last detail which was not finalized was the amount of the compensation that Hendrix will get from Maccabi, because of the contract he had for next season. The two sides agreed on the sum, rumored to be around 200.000 euros, and the 30 years old forward is getting ready for the new season with his new team.
Hendrix has also played in Granada, in EA7 Milano (Italy) and Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia).
