For the first time in his European career, Bo McCalebb will play in Spain. Gran Canaria announced the addition of the American guard for next season.
McCalebb, once one of the best guards in Europe, has played for Mersin, Partizan, Siena, Fenerbahce, Bayern and more recently for Limoges. At his 31 years of age the player, who has also a passport from FYROM, is trying to relive his former glory days. From 2009 until 2012 he was the leader of Partizan and Siena, the top Euroleague scorer in 2012, Adriatic league and Italian champ.
He also got a championship title in Turkey with Fenerbahce, but since leaving Italy he never was the same player again. In Gran Canaria he will have the chance to lead again, both in Spanish Liga Endesa and in Eurocup.
