Besiktas continues its transfers and this time they are targeting big man Vladimir Stimac for the pivot position.
Stimac is no stranger to the Turkish league, as he has played for Olin Edirne and Banvit in Turkey in the past. According to several reports from Turkey, the deal is highly expected to be reached.
The player was part of the Serbian national team in Rio’s Olympics with which he won the silver and spent the previous season in Crvena Zvezda, averaging 7.5 points and 6.9 rebounds in Euroleague.
UPDATE: Besiktas announced the addition of the player with a one year contract which includes also a release option which can be used before the start of the season.
