The Philadelphia 76ers have decided to waive German center Tibor Pleiss as reported by Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
Pleiss was acquired by the club as a part of a trade deal, that also included two second-round picks, with the Utah Jazz for Kendal Marshall.
However the main interest for the 76ers was the two draft picks. Since Pleiss now becomes a free agent, it remains to be seen if he will stay in the States or if he will make a return to Europe.
