Barcelona and Real Betis (ex Sevilla) played against each other in a preparation game ahead of the upcoming season. It was the first test of the new Barca under coach Giorgos Bartzokas.
Even though the Catalans did not use many basic players and included guys from Barcelona B’ in their roster, they won 88 – 80 behind 18 points plus 5 rebounds by Pau Ribas and 16 points plus 5 assists by Tyrese Rice.
For Real Betis, Luka Zoric finished the match with 16 points while captain Bostjan Nachbar added 11 along with 5 assists and 4 rebounds.
