The Euroleague preseason has started with Galatasaray, Darussafaka and Brose Baskets smiling.
Galatasaray Odeabank prevailed today 93-84 over Fortitudo Bologna in Bormio, Italy. Galatasaray led the game for the most part but the Italians reacted and even got the lead during the last quarter. Still coach Ataman’s team closed the contest the right way with Nenad Krstic having almost a double double (15 p., 9 r.) and Justin Dentmon adding 14 points.
Yesterday Fortitudo was beaten 87-61 by EA7 Milano behind 17 points by Milan Macvan. The Italian champs have also won the game against a second division team, Legnano (87-73).
Darussafaka also prevailed over Istanbul BBSK (87-66) yesterday with Will Clyburn scoring 17 points and Adrien Moerman adding 16. Also the pre-season started for Brose Baskets which beat the newcomer in the top Greek league Promitheas Patron (78-68) as Fabien Causeur scored 17 points.
