Beautiful performances by the backcourt duo of Rodrigue Beaubois and Shane Larkin as Laboral Kutxa kickstarted the preseason by defeating Unicaja Malaga 79 – 63.
The French combo guard scored 24 points with sublime shooting (4/5 two-pointers, 5/7 from behind the arc) while Larkin added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
Jamar Smith and Oliver Lafayette scored 11 points each for Unicaja Malaga.
In another prep match between two Liga Endesa teams, Valencia downed Joventut Badalona 64 – 49 behind 12 points by Luke Sikma.
