Quite the entrance by Zalgiris Kaunas in its first preparation game ahead of the upcoming season. The Lithuanian team’s superior quality made a difference vs Khimik Yuzhne (Ukraine) which was destroyed 102 – 68.
Australian big guy Brock Motum starred from the winners with 27 points, while Leo Westermann had a near double-double performance of 10 points and 9 assists. Arturas Milaknis dropped 13 points, Edgaras Ulanovas 9, while Augusto Lima, Kevin Pangos and Isiah Hartenstein added 8 points each.
For Khimik, Jaime Smith scored 13 points, Oleksandr Antypov 12 and Viacheslav Petrov 11.
