The Spanish edition of the NBA2K17 was officially presented today in Madrid with the presence of Pau Gasol who graces the game’s package cover. The two-time NBA champ is the second-highest rated European player, surpassed only by his brother, Marc.
“Well my brother’s higher rating lowered my moral a bit”, joked the San Antonio Spurs center. ” But I don’t think that there are many 36-year old players who have a rating of 84 in NBA2K”, he then commented.
When asked about what other player he would like to be in the popular videogame, Gasol answered that: “I am satisfied with the player I am. But if I had to choose, I would pick Magic Johnson or Lebron James for their versatility. They are players who can defend big guys and play as guards, pacing the team on floor. ”
