Olympiacos got the 84-49 win over Apollon Patras in the first pre-season game of the Reds for the 2016-17 season with Erick Green being the top scorer with 17 points.
The Greek champs had a black band on their jerseys, since the club is still mourning the death of Ioanas Aggelopoulou-Stahtoy, the wife of owner Giorgos Aggelopoulos. The Reds dominated the second half and let Apollon score just 6 points in the last period.
Giorgos Printezis added 11 points for the winners, while Vaggelos Mantzaris with 10 points was the only other player who scored in double digits. Patrick Young was not used by coach Sfairopoulos due to a light hand injury.
