The acquisition of Emir Preldzic by Galatasaray has just become more or less official. As announced by his agent, Misko Raznatovic, the Turkish point-forward signed a two-year contract with Eurocup champions.
Previously a captain of Fenerbahce (Galatasaray’s… arch-rival), the 30-year old player spent the previous season playing for Darussafaka Dogus. He averaged 4.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in Euroleague, plus 6.9 points, 2.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds in the Turkish Basketball Super League.
A multitasking offensive baller, Preldzic has been playing full-time in Euroleague since he was 20 years old, having an experience of nine years and 172 games in the competition.
Update: Galatasaray also announced the addition of Emir Preldzic for the next two seasons.
