Yao Ming was the first speaker from the class of 2016 in the Hall of Fame. And he delivered what he was expected from him, as he always did for the Rockets and China.
“The first speaker should be the great Allen Iverson. I need practice more than he does”, he joked, proving once again why he was the right material in order to be an icon.
As he said: “Although perhaps my career ended too soon, for me I treasure each and every moment”. Here’s his full speach about his journey which started in China and continued in the NBA, ending with him being, like Shaquille O’Neal, probably one of the last classic centers of the game.
