Crvena Zvezda qualified for the final of the pre-season tournament in Vrsac, Serbia, after beating the host team of the event. The “Reds” prevailed 86-69 over Vrsac, which is coached by the former player of Zvezda, Milan Gurovic.
Rio silver medalist Marko Simonovic was the top scorer of a balanced offense with 13 points, while former Panathinaikos player Ognen Kuzmic added 9 points.
Zvezda will face Mega Leks in the final, which beat Buducnost 91-84 after overtime in the other semifinal game of the tournament.
