David Blatt’s Darussafaka Dogus continues its winning streak during its preparation period, this time beating Bayern Munich 87 – 82 in Bonn.
In his return to familiar grounds, since he had played in Germany for two years, Brad Wanamaker was the top scorer of Darussafaka with 20 points also dishing 4 assists. Two more new arrivals of the Turkish team, Will Clyburn (16 p.) and James Anderson (13 p.) contributed double-digit points while Furkan Aldemir had 8 plus 13 rebounds.
Now under the guidance of Sasa Djordjevic, Bayern Munich showed a pretty good display against one of the most ambitious Euroleague teams. Bryce Taylor (21 points) and newcomer Ondrej Balvin (12 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) stood out from the Bavarians.
