Brose Baskets of coach Andrea Trinkieri got the win in the final of the Trento tournament over EA7 Armani Milano (92-85).
Fabien Causeur with 18 points and Niccolo Melli with 15 led the German champions who controlled most of the game against the Italians champs. Brose Baskeths had a 45-38 half time lead, a 59-44 advantage five minutes later and didn’t feel any real pressure until the end. The best that Milano did was cut the lead to five (86-81) with 25 left on the clock.
Rakim Sanders had an amazing game with 24 points after making 6/7 threes, but it was not enough. Zoran Dragic had 14 points and Jamel McLean added 13 points. For the winning side, Nikos Zisis, Tobias Harris and Darius Miller also scored 10 points each. Melli was also named MVP of the tournament.
