Besiktas hosted Unics Kazan for the GSA Basketball Tournament 2016 that takes place in Antalya.
In a tough fought prep game for both teams, the Turkish squad played excellent defense after the first period receiving only 41 points in 30 minutes to ultimately win 71 – 62.
Newcomers Michael Thompson (18 points) and Michael Roll (12 points) scored in double-digit numbers for the winners, while Earl Clark nearly registered a double-double (9 points, 10 rebounds).
Coty Clarke (19 points), Marko Banic (16 points) and Keith Langford (12 points) stood out from the side of the Russian team.
