Both teams played in the Euroleague final four last season, but things have changed. Fenerbahce which remained the same beat Lokomotiv Kuban, which changed a lot, by 21 points (88-67).
In the second game of the pre-season tournament of Zadar the unit of coach Obradovic was ready to demonstrate its might with Jan Vesely scoring 15 points, Ekpeh Udoh adding 13 and 8 assists (!), Gigi Datome having 12, newly signed James Nunnally contributing 11 and Bogdan Bogdanovic flirting also with double digits scoring in scoring with 9 points.
Kevin Jones scored 18 points and Matt Janning 12 for the new version of Lokomotiv Kuban.
