Unicaja Malaga has been searching for a center possessing similar characteristics with Trevor Mbakwe in order to fill his position after failing to pass his medicals. The Andalusians found him in the face of Hamady N’Diaye.
The transfer of the Senegalese center was officially announced by the Spanish club, that has now completed its frontline for the upcoming season. It will be the player’s first venture in both Eurocup and Liga Endesa.
29-year old N’Diaye is quite notable for his defensive skills. He finished the previous season as the top blocker in the Israeli Winner League, averaging 2.4 blocks per game with Bnei Herzilya.
He has won the bronze medal with the national team of Senegal in the Afrobasket 2013.
