Keith Langford extended his contract with Unics earlier this summer for two more seasons, after which the player is likely to retire.
As mentioned on rsport.ru, Langford is thinking of retiring in Europe, as he wants to spend the rest of his career as a starter and not on the bench.
“Even if I found a job in the NBA, it is unlikely that I would get a lot of playing time, I would have been an important part of the team”, he stated. “I want to spend the remaining years of my career on the court instead of the bench. I was thinking about the NBA, but then figured the pros and cons and decided that I would stay in Europe.”
