The reigning champions in France put the “know how” they acquired in last year’s finals into good use to claim their first victory in the new season after an impressive comeback.

Villeurbanne was behind the score with even 20 points (52 – 32) in the beginning of the second half and didn’t only return to the game, but ultimately made it look easy in the last period. Truly a performance worthy of the champs’ fame.

By making a wonderful finish with 29 points scored in the fourth quarter, Limoges began the new season with 2/2, downing Nancy. On the other hand, Monaco relied on its defensive efficiency in order to double its victories, forcing Chalon/Saone to poor output.
