Mario Hezonja struggled in the preseason opener, finishing with just three points in 22 minutes, though things took a different spin in yesterday’s games against the Cavaliers. The Croatian scored 17 points (6/14 FG) in 27 minutes.
Hezonja was particularly impressive from long range, a trait he flashed occasionally during his rookie season.
Given his potential, he is set to play an increasingly important role off the bench for the Magic in this season.
It remains to be seen if the Croatian sensation will have a break out year this season, something that seems to be just a matter of time, considering his abilities.
