Danilo Gallinari is quite optimistic about the upcoming season with the Denver Nuggets. The Italian forward believes that his team has undergone the necessary changes during summer will make the team’s game playoff eligible.
“We have players who were rookies last year and young guys we got this year. They are hard workers, they understand the game that we have. The veterans that we have, are veterans with a great mentality. They have been there,” he said to the Denver Post.
So does he think that the playoffs are within reach? “Yes, I think so”, he replied.
When asked if he will be even better than last year, he answered. “Hopefully better. I don’t know how much. Hopefully me getting better will be, on the other side, the same with wins. So I get better and we need to get more wins. That’s the most important thing.”
Gallo also added that: “We need the young guys that have never been to that stage to experience that. I don’t want to leave another season with a bad taste in my mouth at the end of the season where we are not in the playoffs.”
