With Viktor Sanikidze suffering what seems to be a pretty nasty injury that might force him to stay out of action even for six months, Aris Thessaloniki is moving to find his replacement with Tadija Dragisevic’s name being high in the club’s agenda.
Dragicevic, who last played for Buducnost in Montenegro, had been under Aris’ radar during the summer’s transfer season. Now, he might hear a knock on his door from the Greek team. especially if Sanikitdze’s problem is as big as it appears to be.
The Georgian forward hurt his right knee so bad in the game between his team and Trikala that he had to leave the floor on a stretcher and get transported to the hospital. His teammates rushed at his side after the sound of the final buzzer and Aris assistant coach Dimitris Kaberidis made a specific mention on the severity of his situation.
Since early estimations talk about a quite serious injury problem. Serious enough to make the management of the club consider replacement options, one of them being Dragicevic.
