The Slovenian star of the Miami Heat, Goran Dragic, provided a preview of things to come this season, leading his team to the 121-100 win over the Nets with a double double (17 p., 11 as.).

The Mavericks beat the Thunder 114-109 with German star Dirk Nowitzki scoring 8 points, against two double double by Turks Enes Kanter (11 p., 13 r.) and Ersan Ilyasova (19 p., 11 r.). Lithuanian Domantas Sabonis (4 p., 2 r, 2 as.) was a starter for Oklahoma City, French Joffrey Lauvergne scored 15 points and Spaniard Alex Abrines added 2 points.
The Blazers beat the Lakers 109-106 behind 30 points by Damian Lillard. For the Lakers British Luol Deng scored 7 points and Russian Timofey Mozgov had 11.
