Omar Cook is Panathinaikos’ chosen player to fill the gap left by Mike James in the Greens’ backcourt.
The Greek club moved quickly and managed to reach an agreement with both Estudiantes and the American guard who will return to Euroleague after the 2013-2104 season.
The agreement between the two sides is of two months and the cost of the player’s transfer will be around €220.000.
Cook has important experience in the Euroleague floors where he has played 105 games for Unicaja Malaga, Valencia, Olimpia Armani Milano, Baskonia and Lietuvos Rytas. His highlight feature is his assists, priding on the biggest average in the history of the competition with 5.2 per game. He has also averaged 6.7 points and 1.9 rebounds.
