In the first games of the EuroLeague’s fantasy the most pressing need is to ensure more credits rather than big scores.
Starting this week, Eurohoops will be providing various tools so that you have more chances of coming out winners.
Ahead of the game’s second week, we present two very useful tables for you to see how underrated or overrated the players are and so that you can try to acquire the first ones and avoid the second ones.
To understand the tables you just have to consider that the marginal score is the ranking that every player will have to have in order to acquire +15% of his value. For example, if Ricky Hickman has a rating that is greater than -1,5, then he will increase his value by 15% and will definitely get 8,8 credits.
The criterion of their evaluation is the difference between their average score compared with the score that the +15% would have given them.

Correspondingly, you have to avoid any players that have a much greater difference between their marginal score and their average score, since they have to have a really excellent game in order to be able to maintain or increase their value. Let’s take a look at the recommendations for the players of the Eurohoops Team this week.
Doncic, Pappas, Clyburn, Daye, Moerman, and Zirbes fared quite well and so there were four main candidates for leaving the team. The good available options for the point guard position are expensive and so it was preferable to keep Shane Larkin, who can make the difference against Zalgiris.
From there, Deshaun Thomas and Krunoslav Simon are going to leave the team since their value is expected to drop.
Two of the three players that are going to join the team belong to Baskonia and given that Larkin is staying, there is going to be three players from the Basques on the roster. This is not common but until prices are balanced, it’s worth going after the bargains.
Tornike Shengelia and Jaka Blazic are Baskonia’s starting forwards and based on their price tags it’s worth investing in them.
Lastly, regarding the backcourt players, Sinan Guler had an ideal start to the season with Galatasaray against CSKA and in the second game against Crvena Zvezda he can make the difference.
