A crazy night for Bayern’s shooters led the team to its first win in Eurocup this season with 92-84 over UCAM Murcia. This was Murcia’s first loss in the competition after beating Buducnost at home the previous week.
Right from the first half, the fate of the game has started to be determined, as Bayern scored 62 points with 12/16 three-pointers(!) in it vs Murcia’s 35. As expected, Murcia simply couldn’t stop the hosts’ frenzy from the arch. Murcia managed to drop the deficit to 7 points near the end, but it was already too late for a comeback.
For Bayern, Vladimir Lucic and Reggie Redding were perfect from the arch (4/4 and 2/2 respectively), with Lucic being the team’s first scorer with 19 points.
For Murcia, Campazzo tried to save the day with a double double of 20 points and 12 assists.
