Not only did Vassilis Spanoulis reach a milestone in his career by registering his 3000th point in Euroleague during the victory of Olympiacos vs Anadolu Efes, but his performance granted him the title of Weekly MVP for Round 2.
“V-Span” began the game with a phenomenal playmaking show in first quarter where he dished 7 (!) out of his 9 assists, securing that his team will take an early advantage over its opponents.
When situations called for his scoring talents, he stepped up, making bucket after bucket to finish the game with 17 points. He recorded 26 in the evaluation system, more than any other player of winning teams.
