The NBA season is about to start and the players who are not making the NBA rosters are announced. Among them there are also European players who will have to settle for the NBADL or head back to Europe.
The most peculiar case is that of Slovenian veteran guard Beno Udrih who is waived by the Heat, but will be paid by them $ 1,6m. for the upcoming season. That’s not the case with French Damien Inglish who was cut by the Knicks
An other Frenchman Livio Jean-Charles is expected to be cut from the Spurs and the same applies to NCAA champ Ryan Arcidiacono, who has the ability to get also an Italian passport and play in Europe under a EU player status.
Zack Auguste who was cut by the Lakers, can do something similar, with him having Greek roots and in the recent past being in talks with the Greek basketball federation in order to aquire citizenship.
