Marko Tomas has signed a deal with Cedevita for the rest of the season, replacing Scotty Hopson. The 31-year old forward returned to the club after one year of absence. He arrives from TED Ankara in Turkey, where he played 29 games last season.
In the player’s words: “I’m really happy about returning to the club, which I consider my own. I waited for the right offer, even though I had more prosperous ones. I believe I will help the team to achieve all of its goals and the potential is certainly there. I’ll play tomorrow against Igokea, since I know the team well and I do not need any adjustment.”
Before departing, Tomas has played in Cedevita between 2012 and 2015.
