The Gasol brothers registered double-doubles last night being integral part of their team’s victories against their opponents. Meanwhile, a certain “Greek Freak’s” new prolific all-around output wasn’t enough.
And that is because the Milwaukee Bucks were defeated by Detroit Pistons. Although Giannis Antetokounmpo neared a triple-double performance, being also the top scorer of his squad, the Bucks failed to connect to the basket sufficiently enough to take something from the game.
Which was not the case for the Memphis Grizzlies or the San Antonio Spurs which beat the Washington Wizards and Miami Heat respectively, with Marc and Pau Gasol supplying the demand for points and rebounds.
Goran Dragic was second top scorer and best passer for the Heat but Spurs superiority couldn’t be denied. Meanwhile, Gortat also contributed a double-double for his team but a poor perimeter shooting (5-25, 20%) doomed the Wizards.
