Barcelona has been searching for a player to strengthen its perimeter and it appears they have already made an offer for American point guard Dee Bost.
“I have an offer from Barcelona and my transfer is possible. But everything is in the hands of my club”, Bost said to Polish website Sportowefacty.
Boost, 27, who currently plays for AS Monaco, fills the criteria of coach Giorgos Bartzokas in more ways than one. He’s experienced in Euroleague and owns a Bulgarian passport, thus he won’t foreign player’s spot in the Spanish team’s roster.
He averages 7.5 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds per game so far in the FIBA Champions League.
Barcelona has also expressed an interest for Serbian play-maker Stefan Markovic of Zenit St. Petersburg, but his case appears to be difficult since the Russian club said no to the initial offer made by the Blaugrana.
