Only five days after being re-signed by the Sacramento Kings, Jordan Farmar was officially waived today, as the club officially announced.
His departure from the Kings comes at a certainly interesting timing, since there is no shortage of teams (Barcelona, Panathinaikos) searching for qualitative guard in Europe. The 29-year old combo guard also owns an Israeli passport which might make his case even more attractive.
He also carries a no small amount of Euroleague experience from his days in Maccabi Tel Aviv and Anadolu Efes. Farmar played two games with the Kings this season, averaging 6 points and 5.5 assists.
