After suffering some quite narrow defeats a previously winless Lietuvos Rytas finally caught a break in this season’s Eurocup defeating Fuenlabrada rather easily 101 – 84.
The Lithuanians heavily relied on David Logan’s superb game of 27 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds to get what they wanted. With this performance, the American guard registered an index rating career high in Eurocup, gathering 35 evaluation points.
Arturas Guidaitis (17 points, 11 rebounds) and Rokas Giedraitis (16 points) also played an important part in their team’s win which mostly came after a dominant first half, where Rytas got a 20-point lead, 63 – 43.
Fuenlabrada was mostly betrayed by its lackluster defense and a negative entrance in the game. Xavi Rey finished with 15 points and Marko Popovic with 13, hours after his team announced that it declined an offer by Panathinaikos for him.
