Ryan Toolson returned to Malaga and had a heck of a game against his old team. However, despite his 35 points, short-handed due to injuries Unicaja managed to get the 93-86 win over Zenit St. Petersburg.
Carlos Suarez scored in total 18 points made the biggest shot of the game, a three that gave to Unicaja a 86-81 lead with less than two minutes on the clock. After a turnover of Anton Pushkov, Jamar Smith sealed the deal with one more three (89-81) and 22 points in total, while Kyle Fogg also scored 18 points.
Stefan Markovic who also played for Unicaja Malaga in the recent past dished 14 assists for the losing side and Kyle Landry added 14 points.
