Olympiacos and Barcelona will not be having their morning shoot-arounds at SEF, because of Barack Obama.
The US president is visiting the Acropolis in central Athens on Wednesday morning with Greece’s best-known and most-visited archaeological site closed to the public in anticipation of his visit.
However, not only this site will be closed to the public, but also the roads leading to it and then to the new coastal cultural complex, the state-of-the-art Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), in which he will give an address before leaving.
The SNFCC is at close proximity to the home gym of Olympiacos (SEF) and the roads leading to it will also be blocked for a few hours due to security reasons.
