Barcelona bounced back after the two Euroleague defeats by beating Estudiantes for the Spanish Liga Endesa. The final score was 92-80, however the game was a much more easier affair for the hosts.
After the end of the third quarter, Barcelona was leading by 22 points (71-49), but the players of coach Bartzokas relaxed in the last period and Estudiantes managed to get closer in the end. Marcus Eriksson with 18 points and Ante Tomic with 17 led the offense for the winners. French swingman Edwin Jackson scored 25 points for the losing side.
After this result Barcelona has a 7-1 record and will remain on top of the standings, while Estudiantes is left at 3-5.
