Real Madrid made things easy in the end against Gran Canaria

Real Madrid faced Gran Canaria on the road and grabbed a 68-76 win, improving to 7-1 in the ACB league standings.

In the first period, the Whites were led by Gustavo Ayon and Andres Nocioni and managed to have a 2-point advantage after 10 minutes, 17-19. During the second period, Gran Canaria had its outburst and turned the momentum of the game into its favor. At halftime, the hosts were up 39-34.

The second half was equally challenging for the visitors, as they couldn’t get a notable lead, one that would act as a “breather”. Even after 30 minutes in the game, Gran Canaria kept a 1-point lead with 56-55.

At last, Real Madrid found some solutions with Luka Doncic and Jeffery Taylor, making things easier in the final period. Not only that, but the visitors managed to keep Gran Canaria at just 12 points in the 4th quarter.

For Real, Sergio Llull had 13 points, while Nocioni and Ayon shared 12.

For Gran Canaria, Kyle Kuric scored 15 points.
