Despite playing without punished Justin Dentmon and Russ Smith, Galatasaray managed to prevail over Besiktas (84-78) thanks to 19 points by Blake Schilb and a big shot by John Diebler (79-73) with 50 seconds left which decided the outcome.
Galatasaray is now tied with Dogus Darussafaka, which beat TED Ankara in the 7th spot with a 4-3 record. Banvit (7-0) is the only unbeaten team after prevailing over Anadolu Efes, which is now tied at 6-1 with Fenerbahce in the second place, while Besiktas, Karisyaka and Yesilgiresun follow at 5-2. However, Ricky Ledo was the player who stole the show this week with a 42 points performance.
