Kenny Gabriel is headed to Athens for Panathinaikos after terminating his contact with Lokomotiv Kuban. He is expected to sign a deal with the Greens until the end of the season. Gabriel will be a much needed booster for the Greek team after losing James Gist due to a serious injury.
Panathinaikos has been in talks with Lokomotiv for the acquirement of the player as Eurohoops earlier reported and the two teams have reached an agreement. The only basic requirement for the Greens was to cover part of the player’s contract.
The player didn’t take part in Lokomotiv’s practice earlier in the the day and is soon expected to arrive to Athens.
