After terminating his contract with Lokomotiv Kuban, Kenny Gabriel signed a deal with Panathinaikos for the remainder of the season.
The 27-year-old power forward will join the Greek club in order to replace the badly injured James Gist who is estimated to miss a period from 2 to 4 months after undergoing surgery on his left leg.
Gabriel is expected to be officially announced by Panathinaikos tomorrow and is planned to join his team’s practices as soon as possible in order to adapt quickly to his new surroundings, ahead of the demanding schedule in both Euroleague and Greek Basket League.
