A prolific offensive game took place in Las Palmas between Gran Canaria and Nizhny Novgorod with the Spanish team winning 98 – 87.
The two teams were close until the beginning of the fourth quarter but a 13 – 0 run by coach Casimiro’s players transformed the 75 – 72 into 88 – 72 within… four minutes. Game over.
Once more Kyle Kuric paced Gran Canaria with 18 points. Sasu Salin and Pablo Aguilar added 14 apiece and Bo MacCalebb 12.
Kenneth Boynton (19 points) and Ivan Strebkov (18 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists) were the best Nizhny had to offer.
