Davis Bertans found his role with the Spurs. Two days after scoring 11 points against the Hornets, the Latvian forward had 15 on 3 out of 5 threes as San Antonio beat Boston 109-103.
Kawhi Leonard with 25 points was the leader of the winners, Spanish star Pau Gasol had an off night in which he couldn’t score and added just 5 rebounds, while Frenchman Tony Parker had 7 points and 4 assists.
It was a close game at Boston with Swedish Jonas Jerebko scoring 7 points for the hosts. For the Spurs Bertans came off the bench and stole the show, making the most out of the 23 minutes he stayed on the floor.
Also of note, is the fact that with the Latvian forward in, the Texan team had a lead of 8 points. Only Tony Parker and Jonathon Simmons also finished the game with this +/- number.
