Whether by making their task much easier than it appeared, or having to break down some serious opposition, the teams that lead the standings in German League showed that they are not to be trifled with.

Ratiopharm Ulm (11-0) was the victim of an upset in Eurocup vs Olimpija Lubjana and managed but recovered well enough to preserve its stainless record in Germany, beating Braunschweig (2-9) at home, thanks to (another) dominant presence by Raymar Morgan. Coach Leibenath and his guys remain tied with Brose Bamberg at the top.

In Bavaria, Medi Bayreuth (10-1) delivered a strong second half output to ultimately easily defeat Ludwigsburg (6-6) and retain its position as third in the standings. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich (9-1) had another offensive show, this time against winless Phoenix Hagen (0-11), on the road.
